Happy Holiday Illustrations

Christmas is coming! Soon all shall be merry and cheery and white! So naturally the season to gifts that are straight from the heart is upon is all! I have decided to give certain members of my family who live in a far off land illustrations to commemorate my feelings and theirs as well toward certain things.

The main illustration is for my step-mom/whole family. You see, recently their dog had to be put down because of medical complications. We all took it hard of course but my step mother seemed to most of all. My father and I thought it would be a terrific idea to do a sort of portrait of our beloved, Buddy.

Here I share with you the pencils of the Buddy illustration I call, "Saint Buddy". Also some shots of the other ones as well. I plan on doing individual blogs on each so look forward to those! And shhhh don't tell my family this is on my blog! Happy Holidays! Cheers!

Architectual Illustration Idea

These that you see before you are two inspirational architectural designs for rooms. Why you ask? I have recently been inspired to create design concepts like this of a childhood friend of mines living room from when I was young. I shall be using these two design concepts as a sort of layout for how I will tackle this illustration.

I'm doing this illustration as sort of an ode to my own memory of a happy time in my life. A time when it seemed like possibilities were endless for us all, especially myself with my art. I realize I still have a shit ton of growth to do as an artist and luckily I still have lots of time! But I do need to start being more disciplined with all of my talents (art, writing and acting).

Hopefully I will take some good process shots of this whole procedure along the way. I will try, occasionally I mean to do this but then end up going full blown out and finishing the whole thing that night without taking a break. We'll see kids! Stay tuned!

Work History

17 jobs in 9 years...

Am I rich yet? No. Will I eventually succeed at my career goals and stop wandering from job to job like a vagabond? No clue. I'm only 24 and here's what I've learned about myself so far.

I usually need two or more jobs to support myself at a time. 

I never manage my money properly. 

Often I quit one of my jobs prematurely.

Having two jobs keeps me busy which is good but also exhausts my mental faculties and in some cases my physical. 

17 jobs in 9 years and I'm only making $3.00's more than when I started out. 

I'm not much closer to my career than when I started out, although via experience I've gained extensively more knowledge that I desperately needed. I still have time though, that's the beauty of youth. 

My networks and outreach need a lot of work. Meh. 

Halloween 2013

Jack O'Lantern: Attorney at Law's favorite stories:

"One time I was set up on a blind date witha female lawyer, boy do I wish I really was blind. You know the difference between a female lawyer and a pitbull? Lipstick!"

"Was at a new client mixer once, the senior partners through it at what they called a ballroom, pretty sure the "clients"  there just called it the waiting-room of a hospital." 

"I'm good friends with Bellatrix LeStrange, poor girl went to Azkaban for Voldemort and never once got a congical visit. No wonder she's a little off."

"Was representing the wolf-man once in a case, he had slaughtered a bunch of pigs. We ended up winning the case by the jury. The judge came up to me later shaking his head and said the trajedy isn't that those pigs were slaughtered, the trajedy is that it doesn't happen more often to lawyers."

On the Hunt

Once again I'm on the hunt to find mire ways to make extra cash. I'm going to do some research and experimentation and hopefully remember to post it. Lol
