Awesomeness Rising

So the other day I started drawing again, I'm doing a small comic (like four pages) for my portfolio, its basically a crossover between my favorite anime's (DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo etc.) and DC Comics characters, set in their universe. Doing up the first page now and it's a blast. Since not really drawing for a long while I'm actually a lot more patient I'm finding and more in tune with what really works on the page. Also my shading and cross hatching and what not has improved, my characters are looking movre alive and better looking. I've improved a bit as an artist as far as I can tell. I'm going to keep plugging away and hopefully have it done by time Philly Comic Con comes up. Wish me luck! As for my acting and what not I will start filming, "Half Dead" with Mad Angel Films this May as well as a film where I will play a mercenary. And I believe another film entitled, "Anti-Heroes" with WendellVision Filmworks this May as well. Also at some point I'm do to be in a short film entitled, "Flashback" through WendellVision Filmworks I believe as well. The commercials I was in with Working Pictures should be premiering on network telly this month as well so stay tuned. Writing wise, not much happening besides writing mad short skits and episodes of stuff! Look out peeps! Mike D. Burke Actor/Writer/Illustrator
