Awesomeness Rising

So the other day I started drawing again, I'm doing a small comic (like four pages) for my portfolio, its basically a crossover between my favorite anime's (DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo etc.) and DC Comics characters, set in their universe. Doing up the first page now and it's a blast. Since not really drawing for a long while I'm actually a lot more patient I'm finding and more in tune with what really works on the page. Also my shading and cross hatching and what not has improved, my characters are looking movre alive and better looking. I've improved a bit as an artist as far as I can tell. I'm going to keep plugging away and hopefully have it done by time Philly Comic Con comes up. Wish me luck! As for my acting and what not I will start filming, "Half Dead" with Mad Angel Films this May as well as a film where I will play a mercenary. And I believe another film entitled, "Anti-Heroes" with WendellVision Filmworks this May as well. Also at some point I'm do to be in a short film entitled, "Flashback" through WendellVision Filmworks I believe as well. The commercials I was in with Working Pictures should be premiering on network telly this month as well so stay tuned. Stuff GOing down!!

Things are picking up once again for me folks! I'm getting back into the swing of things! I'm doing some concept arts for a local film here and also some for a web series a buddy and me are doing! I shall post all accordingly. Also I am getting really back into illustrating comics and everything again, I really, really desperately miss it especially seeing all the great art on here everyday! I have to get back into it I mean, its what I love. I'm alwasy struggling with the fact that I have so many different talents and sometimes it's not easy to mesh them. I know, right, boo-fricken-hoo you're mult-talented...I'm not looking for sympothy at all, in fact if you ever see me you have permission to say Hi (because it's polite) and then to slap me (because I deserve it). But yeah, I struggle because like I'm an Actor, a Writer, an Illustrator and I'm dabbling in Stand Up (which is by far the hardest right now for me...I get some laughs, but I crave more!). Plus lately this year a lot of acting work has opened up for me and some directing stuff as well, but I gotta keep focused! I still really want to become a comic book artist and writer as well!! Ok so once again I am on the rise to find new ways to save and ways to make some extra cash. I am of course only writing on things I have tried myself. If anyone else is doing some other stuff to make extra cash and can explain how to do so to me, I would love to hear them send me an email at: ananamifdmb@yahoo.com 1. Recycling bottles and cans- Duh. 2. Spending mostly only cash- Saves change up which incidentally turns into more cash (who knew) 3. Selling Artwork- If your talented as an illustrator, painter etc., find somewhere to sell them. 4. Freelancing- Whether writing or illustrating if there's a market for it in your town try it out. That's all I got for now...I need some more money ASAP...just saying. Ooh look a nickel. I found a nickel as I'm typing this! Sweet!

Filming and Writing

What up my favorite people in the world? Want to know whats been happening with me recently? Well, here we go! So yesterday I shot a short episode called, 'The Last Resort' with MadAngelFilms and it went amazing! I played a badass assassin named Slate. It was sweet, great lines, great fight scene and everything, then we got pizza and it was God awful!!! Just kidding, it was good too. I'll be working more closely with the folks at MAF writing and starring in clips and movies and what not, it's boss man, triple boss!! Also been getting a lot more views on the ol' YouTube page which is sweet. Recently sent my headshot and acting resume out to quite a few potential shows, films and commercial so hopefully be hearing back from them and get some paying gigs. I will also be selling my artwork and books at Munson Williams here in Utica, NY so check that out if your in the area! As always check my facebook page, YouTube page and Google+ page as well for more news and wacky things!! More greatness to come. Oh yeah and I finished the teleplay I've been working on!! More New!!

More new stuff coming I swear, new videos and new content and new information on the things that I do that I know your all interested in! Maybe, your interested in...So yeah, last performance today for 'The Government Inspector' 2pm @ Utica College Strebel Auditorium!! Also 'Stone' is now in theaters at the Uptown, so go see it!! I make a small but significant appearance in that film. I will be working closely now with the gents and ladies at MadAngelFilms from now on doing stuff with them!! So check there stuff. Also I have linked together all my pages and channels on the net so enjoy and go bananas!! More funny stuff and action packed adventure coming, I only have so long to type this dammit so don't rush it your half eaten cheeseballs for brains!! Never insult the audience, yeah right. Anywho I'll be back, just try and stop me!!

BEEN A WHILE EH?

My apologies for taking so long at getting back to here. I know it's been like literally months since I've written anything for your pleasing eyes. THE INSPECTOR GENERAL its called and I play OSIP. It's Feb. 23-26th in Utica, NY at the Utica College Strebel Auditorium so be there if you can make it!! I also recently auditioned for a film shooting in Utica, NY and am awaiting the callback for it. I'm writing as much as I can. Working at a shitty full-time job I'm greatful for and making mad money so that's good....So yeah this is good stuff stay tuned!
